I am thrilled to be joining the community as a Special Education Math Teacher!

Born and raised in Chicago, I’ve dedicated my career to education and continuous learning. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with three middle school endorsements from Eastern Illinois University, followed by a Master’s as a Learning Behavior Specialist from Northeastern Illinois University. I also hold an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education, where I am wrapping up my ESL certification in the fall. My goal in the classroom is to leverage this background to make math accessible, build genuine student confidence, and create a structured, supportive environment where every learner can succeed.

On a personal note, life outside of work stays just as active. I’m a proud father to an energetic toddler, and between him and my Goldendoodle, I am kept on my toes on a regular basis! When I get a chance I like to travel, read, and enjoy all of the Chicago sports teams.

I am looking forward to collaborating with everyone, connecting with the community, and making an impactful difference for the students at Joseph Lovett Elementary School.
